What data licensing means

Years of documents, spreadsheets, drawings, reports and project files show how real work actually gets done. Some data buyers will license, with your permission, a copy of that kind of record. The first step is finding out whether yours fit what they ask for.

You keep your originals

Licensing gives a buyer the right to use a copy of selected records. Your files stay with you.

Used to teach AI how people work

Data buyers license real work records and supply them to AI developers. The data is used to teach AI systems how people do their work.

Every buyer sets its own terms

Each buyer’s terms spell out what is allowed, including how data is handled and for how long. We help you read them before you decide.

Buyers are sourcing now

AI developers are actively looking for permission-based data right now, so an earlier conversation can matter. Timing doesn’t guarantee acceptance or any particular offer.

Records buyers ask about

Buyers work with digital records, from businesses that are operating, sold, closed or winding down. Paper-only records generally aren’t a fit unless they’re already digitized. Each buyer decides what it accepts. Common examples:

Documents & procedures

Spreadsheets & workbooks

Drawings & CAD files

Reports & deliverables

Emails & internal memos

Project files & histories

Templates & checklists

Tickets, CRM & workflow records

What buyers typically look for

Requirements vary by buyer and change often. We check them against your business on the call. Meeting them does not guarantee acceptance.

An established business, open or closed

Operating, sold, closed or winding down. The records show how people did their work either way, as long as the owner still has them and can legally share them.

Years of digital work records

Documents, spreadsheets, drawings, reports, emails and project files. Paper-only records generally aren’t a fit unless already digitized.

Your permission to license them

Data is licensed only if you choose to apply and agree to a buyer’s terms.

A fit with what each buyer needs now

Which records, how many and from where all vary by buyer, and priorities shift quickly.

Questions business owners ask

Is it really free?

Yes. Your business pays nothing, now or later. If your business is accepted, the buyer pays us a referral fee. If it isn’t, nobody pays anything.

Do you work for the data buyers?

No. Fedrova is an independent referrer, not an employee, partner or agent of any data buyer. You apply directly with the buyer, and the buyer, never your business, pays us.

What data do buyers want?

Years of real digital work records, such as documents, spreadsheets, drawings and CAD files, reports, emails and project files. Requirements vary by buyer and change often, so we check them against your business on the call.

Can a business that has closed take part?

Yes, closed, sold or winding-down businesses can be considered too, as long as the owner still has the digital records and can legally share them. The records show how people did their work whether or not the business is still operating. Each buyer sets its own terms and nothing is guaranteed. Please check ownership and rights to the records with your own advisor; this isn’t legal advice.

Do we lose our files?

No. You keep your originals. If you go ahead, the buyer licenses a copy of the records it accepts.

How is the data used?

It is used to teach AI systems how people do their work. Each buyer’s terms spell out what is allowed, including how data is handled and for how long. We help you read them before you decide.

What about confidentiality?

Before sharing anything, check your own confidentiality obligations to clients and others with your advisor. Nothing here is legal, tax or privacy advice.

How much could it be worth?

Amounts are set by the buyer after it reviews what you have, and depend on the quality and quantity of the data. We don’t quote amounts or promise an offer. The buyer pays only if your business is accepted, and you decide whether to go ahead.

Why talk now?

Buyers are actively sourcing permission-based data right now, so an earlier conversation can matter. Each buyer sets its own terms, and timing doesn’t guarantee acceptance or a better offer.

What if we’re not a fit?

We’ll tell you on the call. It costs nothing, and you’re under no obligation. Buyer requirements change, so the answer may be different later.

How long does it take?

The first call takes 20 minutes. After you apply, the timing of the review and any offer is up to the buyer.
